About Katherine N. Friedman
Katherine Nesteby Friedman is a teacher, mother, and aspiring author who lives in Los Angeles with her husband, baby, and greyhound dog. She worked in an inner city community in Kingston, Jamaica, for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer from 2002-2004, which serves as the basis for her first novel, Kingston Dreams. While in Jamaica, she was selected for the Calabash Writer’s Workshop led by author Colin Channer, and she is currently a member of the Greater Los Angeles Writers Society. Her favorite non-writing hobby is Irish step dancing.
